WHNT NEWS 19 will conduct the ticket giveaway ("the Contest") substantially as described in these rules ("the Official Rules"). Participation in the Contest constitutes each entrant's full and unconditional agreement to, and acceptance of, these Official Rules. The Contest may be temporarily postponed or discontinued at any time without prior notice.

1. Eligibility: Participants, winner(s) and guest(s) must be legal US residents at least 18-years old as determined by WHNT and reside in the Huntsville, Alabama Designated Market Area as defined by The Nielsen Company. Winners are subject to a verification process to include winner's name, address, home phone number, work/cell phone number, and social security number. If a winner is disqualified, WHNT reserves the right to determine an alternate winner or not to award that winner's prize, in its sole discretion. Two (2) winners will receive two (2) tickets per household for the Contest period. Employees of Local TV LLC, employees of WHNT, the Contest's participating sponsors and their advertising agencies, employees of other radio or television stations, and members of the immediate family of any such persons are not eligible to participate and win. The term "immediate family" includes spouses, siblings, parents, children, grandparents, and grandchildren, whether as "in-laws," or by current or past marriage(s), remarriage(s), adoption, co-habitation or other family extension, and any other persons residing at the same household whether or not related.
2. Contest Period: The Contest begins on 2:00pm on Tuesday, October 13 and ends on Friday, November 20, 2009 at 4:00pm ("the Contest Period"). WHNT reserves the right to extend the Contest Period.
3. Entry into Contest; Acceptance: During the Contest Period, viewers will be invited to log on to WHNT.com and register to win. A random drawing from all entries received by 4:00pm on November 20, 2009 will determine the winners.
4. Prizes/Odds: (a) Grand Prize: A random drawing from among all finalists described in section 3 above will be conducted on November 20, 2009 at 4:00pm. (b) Winner Notifications: We will contact the five (5) winners by email. (c) Prize Winners: The Prize Winners selected to go to the Kenny G concert at the Von Braun Center Concert Hall on Thursday, December 20, 2009, will be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility/Release of Liability and Publicity (where permitted) within 24 hours of notification. If a potential winner fails to contact WHNT in the allotted time, or if the potential winner does not sign and return the Affidavit of Eligibility/Release of Liability and Publicity (where permitted) in the required time period, the prize will be deemed forfeited and an alternate winner may be selected from among all remaining eligible entries received.
5. Prize Acceptance/Restrictions: Prizes are not transferable or assignable. No substitution allowed except by WHNT, who may substitute a prize of equal or greater value if advertised prizes become unavailable.
6. Release; Publicity; Use of Personal Information: By participating in the Contest, each participant and winner waives any and all claims of liability against Local TV LLC and its employees and agent, WHNT and its employees and agents, the Contest's sponsors and their respective employees and agents, for any personal injury or loss which may occur from the conduct of, or participation in, the Contest, or from the use of any prize. In order to receive a prize, participants must sign an official waiver form provided by WHNT. By accepting a prize, each winner consents to the use of their name, state of residence and likeness for advertising and promotional purposes online and in print, or in any other media worldwide in connection with the Contest, without limitation and without additional compensation worldwide, except where prohibited by law.
7. Delivery Disclaimer for contests: WHNT is not responsible for mechanical, technical, electronic, communications, computer, hardware or software errors, malfunctions or failures of any kind, including: failed, incomplete, garbled or delayed transmission of online entries, the Internet or at any website or lost or unavailable network connections which may limit an online entrant's ability to participate in the Contest, and any injury or damage to entrant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from participating in or downloading any information necessary to participate in the Contest.

Taxes: Any valuation of the prize(s) stated above is based on available information provided to WHNT, and the value of any prize awarded to a winner may be reported for tax purposes as required by law. All taxes, including federal, state and local taxes, are the sole responsibility of winner. Any person winning over $600 in prizes from WHNT will receive a 1099 form at the end of the calendar year and a copy of such form should be filed with the IRS. Each winner must provide WHNT with valid identification and a valid taxpayer identification number or social security number before any prize will be awarded.
