NEW HOPE -
New Hope and Owens Cross Roads firefighters responded to a house fire overnight.
That fire happened just before 11:00 p.m. at a home on Highway 431 South. A driver noticed flames from the home and called 911.
Firefighters were able to get the fire out within about 15 minutes of arriving on the scene, but were there almost two hours.
There was minor smoke and fire damage to the home, which appeared to be vacant.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
