HUNTSVILLE -
Huntsville police were searching overnight for the driver who left the scene of an accident.
Just before 1:00 a.m., the driver of a Chevrolet Malibu lost control of the car at the intersection of Drake Avenue and Penny Street. Police say the car went through a fence and also hit a large crape myrtle tree.
The driver left the car in the back yard of the residence.
