A woman is charged in connection with a shooting that happened early Friday morning in Guntersville. Jody Lemley is currently charged with DUI, but her charges could be upgraded later today.
Around 12:30 a.m. Friday, Guntersville Police got word there had been a shooting at a home on Connors Island Parkway. They went to the home and found two men who had been shot, one of them in the head. That person was rushed to Huntsville Hospital, but he is okay and has been released.
The other man was taken to Marshall Medical Center North, and has also been released.
Police say the suspect, Lemley, left the scene. They caught up with her a short time later and arrested her. She is currently being held on DUI charges in the Guntersville City Jail. Police say the shooting is domestic-related.
