A Lauderdale County grand jury has indicted two people for their involvement in a deadly shooting in Anderson.
Barry Gene Swan, 40, is charged with murder and 36-year-old Heather Christine Swan is charged with second-degree assault.
In May, 40-year-old Homer Wood, Jr. was shot during an argument at Barry Swan's home on Lauderdale County Road 656 in Anderson. Police say Swan shot Wood once in the chest with a shotgun. Swan claims Wood was threatening him.
Heather Swan is accused of hitting a passenger in Wood's car several times with a baseball bat.
