A four-year-old boy in Marshall County is lucky to be alive. He was hit by a car on Friday afternoon.
Boaz Police Chief Terry Davis says the boy was crossing Alabama Highway 168 with his family when he ran out in front of a car.
This happened around 1:30pm. The car hit the boy in the leg and sent him flying.
Police say the boy has a large cut on his leg, and was taken to the hospital, but should be okay.
