FLORENCE, AL -
Wednesday morning, a Lauderdale County jury found Brian Keith McGuire not guilty of rape, sodomy and sexual assault.
McGuire had been charged with first-degree rape, sodomy and sexual assault. The 48-year-old had been accused of raping a woman at a home in Florence in December 1990.
McGuire took the stand to testify during the trial, telling the jury he had consensual sex with the woman, who was 20 at the time. The woman says that was not the case.
