Actor Chuck Norris Endorses Judge Roy Moore For Governor
Actor Chuck Norris has endorsed Judge Roy Moore in his run for governor of Alabama in 2010. Norris also endorsed two other gubernatorial candidates in Ohio and Iowa.

Moore gained national attention when he moved a granite monument of the Ten Commandments into the Alabama Supreme Court building. When he refused to move it, it cost him his job as chief justice.

"Roy's resume reads like a 'Who's Who' of American life and justice: from private practice to District Attorney then circuit judge and chief justice," said Norris. "Roy Moore's awesome autobiographical manifesto "So Help Me God!" is a must read for any patriot."

Norris also endorsed John Kasich, a candidate running for governor of Ohio, and Bob Vander Plaats, who is running for governor of Iowa.

"I encourage you to spread the word about these gentlemen and patriots, learn about their platforms, support their campaigns and see to it that they are elected as governors. Theirs is leadership we can trust," Norris said. "I'm convinced that, if we are to win back America, it's going to start in the heartland and spread out from there because of the influence of leaders like them."

Moore ran for governor in 2006, but lost the primary to Bob Riley.
