HUNTSVILLE, AL—
Police are investigating an overnight incident at a club in Huntsville. It left one person with several cuts. Huntsville Police say it happened just before 2:00a.m. Saturday at Club Ozz.Investigators tell WHNT NEWS 19 officers worked a second-degree assault at the night club on Posey Street. They say two men got into an argument inside the packed nightclub.
We're told one of the men pulled out a razor on the other. Police say that person then cut a 23-year-old on the hand and arm.
Police did not make an arrest, but believe they are well on their way to doing so.
"We're working as many leads as we can. There were some witnesses at the club. We got a street name on the offender, but we can't release that at this time," said Huntsville Police Officer Joe Kennington.
Police are still looking for the suspect.
We're told the 23-year-old victim should recover from his injuries.
