Now that Halloween 2009 is in the books, local dentists are offering cash for your candy. We found three local offices who are buying back sweet treats.
Complete Dental in Madison says people are still stopping by even though their event was on Sunday. WHNT NEWS 19 spoke with office workers there, who say they've already collected about 500 pounds of candy.
W. Forrest Bryant, a Decatur dentist, is also participating in the candy buy-back. His office is on Stratford Road in Decatur. The event is from 4 to 5 p.m.
Beasley Cosmetic and General Dentistry in Athens is also offering cash for candy from 3:00-5:30 Monday afternoon. The office is on East Hobbs Street.
