Three Arrested for Faking Robbery at Decatur Business
DECATUR - Three people in Decatur have been charged with stealing from their employer and saying it was a robbery.

Decatur police say Kimberly Bailey Livingston, 23, Trinity, told them she was working the drive through at Big Bob Gibson's BBQ Sunday night when a man drove up and handed her a note demanding money. She told police the man had a gun.

Police say they found discrepancies in her report and interviewed her again Monday. They determined Livingston was involved in a plan with her boyfriend, Kevin Matthew Johnson, 24, and Chasidy Lindsey, 32, to stage a robbery and steal money from the business. All three are restaurant employees.

Livingston was charged with theft and filing a false police report. Her bond was set at $3,000.

Johnson and Lindsey were both charged with theft and had bonds set at $2,500.

Most of the stolen money was recovered.
