MADISON, AL -
The Madison County Health Department has more H1N1 vaccine to distribute. Two new clinics have been scheduled -- this time, at two of the county commission district offices.
One will be held at the District 1 County Shed, located at 9457 Moores Mill Road in New Market. It will be on Monday, November 23 from 1:00 to 4:00pm. This clinic is sponsored by Commissioner Roger Jones.
The second will be held at the District 3E County Shed, located at 4273 Highway 72 East in Brownsboro. It will be held on Friday, December 11th from 9:00am to 12:00pm. This clinic is sponsored by Commissioner Jerry Craig.

The vaccine will be available to:
If you have insurance, please present your insurance cards with completed paperwork before getting vaccinated.
Additionally, school vaccinations will begin next Monday, November 23 in Madison City elementary schools. The school system sent home consent forms and information sheets this week. Parents should read the packet, fill out the consent forms and return them with students. No child will be vaccinated unless they have a completed consent form.
Vaccination clinics will be held at Heritage Elementary, Rainbow Elementary and West Madison Elementary on November 23, beginning at 9:00am.
The clinics will be held at Horizon Elementary and Madison Elementary on Tuesday, November 24, beginning at 9:00am. Clinics will be held at Columbia Elementary and Mill Creek Elementary later that morning, beginning at approximately 11:00 to 11:30am depending on the number of students at Horizon and Madison schools.
Students at these schools will get the nasal mist, not the shot. Not all children should get the nasal mist, including those with egg allergies, blood disorders, muscular diseases or other ailments. Please consult your family physician or go to the county health department during one of the H1N1 vaccine clinics to get the shot instead.
