Madison County House Fire (March 23, 2009)
A Madison County teacher is displaced after smoke and fire damage home.
The fire started just after 11:00 last night on Rindon Lane. That's off Walker Lane in Hazel Green. When volunteer fire fighters from Hazel Green and Meridianville arrived, they say they saw fire in the bathroom. They quickly put the fire out, but smoke damaged the home. No one was at home at the time of the fire.
Authorities will be at the home today to investigate how the fire began.
