MERIDIANVILLE -
A Huntsville man died in a two-vehicle wreck Sunday night in Meridianville.
Alabama State Troopers identified the victim as Howard Piner, 48, of Huntsville.
The wreck happened around 8:50 p.m. Sunday at the intersection of Highway 231-431 and Monroe Road in Meridianville.
Piner died at the scene. State troopers say the driver of the other vehicle was taken to the hospital. There's no word on the extent of that driver's injuries, or how the accident happened.
State troopers are investigating.
