MORGAN COUNTY, AL - An overturned 18-wheeler caused a big traffic backup on I-65 Friday. The interstate is now open again at the 336 mile marker, north of Hartselle.

The wreck happened Friday morning. The 18-wheeler was hauling vending machines.

The truck landed on its side, south of the Tennessee River bridge. The vending machines were scattered across the area.

Traffic moved slowly for several hours in the northbound lanes as a result of the accident. The truck was moved to the median of Interstate 65 to help ease the congestion
