An Athens man is dead after a late night accident Saturday in Limestone County.
It happened just after 11:30 p.m. on Bailey Road about two miles west of Lester.
According to state troopers, 43-year-old Robert Kieff was driving east on Bailey Road near the Limestone County line when he lost control of his truck.
The truck went off the road, flipped over, landing upside down.
Investigators say both Kieff and the passenger, 50-year-old Jeannie Kieff, were thrown from the truck.
Robert Kieff was pinned under the truck and pronounced dead at the scene.
Jeannie Kieff was taken to Huntsville Hospital by helicopter.
Bailey Road was blocked off for about three hours but has since reopened.
The accident remains under investigation.
