Giant Mosaic Sanctuary Comes To Huntsville
HUNTSVILLE - Dozens of volunteers are breaking a sweat for a purpose this week. They're building a mansion!

It's actually called The Messiah's Mansion, a life size model of the Mosaic Sanctuary, which organizers say gives tourists the opportunity to see salvation as it was demonstrated to ancient Israel over 3,000 years ago in the Old Testament Bible.

This sanctuary model is being built on the campus of Oakwood University and it takes about 700 man hours to get everything set up and ready to go.

The mansion is a traveling exhibit that goes across the country. Clayton Leinneweber, of Oklahoma is one of the key players who got the idea to get this exhibit up and going.

The tour is broken into five sections lasting about 15 minutes each, explaining the symbols and meanings of the sanctuary.

Benjamin Brown, President of the South Central Conference of 7th-Day Adventists said this is an opportunity of a lifetime.

"The intent is to for persons that come make a personal application of the meaning of the various articles of furniture, to their personal lives," he said.

The messiah's mansion is a free exhibit and open to the public. Tours will be given starting Friday June 5th until Saturday June 13th.
