MORGAN COUNTY -
One person is dead and another injured after an overnight wreck in Morgan County.
The wreck happened around 1:30 a.m. on Highway 20 in the Trinity area. Authorities say a van traveling east ran off the road, hit a drainage culvert and flipped. They also say the van caught fire after turning over.
One person died at the scene.
A second person was thrown out of the van. That person was taken to Decatur General Hospital, and then flown to Huntsville Hospital in critical condition.
Alabama State Troopers are investigating the wreck. No names have been released.
