Moulton Woman Arrested For Forging Results Of Court Documents About Paternity Test
The Lawrence County Sheriff's Department arrested Amanda Hazen on two counts of forgery after discovering in an investigation that she allegedly forged two signatures on court documents regarding a paternity test results.

Over the course of a two-month investigation, sheriffs and agents with the Alabama Bureau of Investigations discovered counterfeit court documents "dealing with a paternity issue." Sheriff Gene Mitchell says the documents held the forged signature of Lawrence County District Judge Angela Terry, as well as a fictitious name listed as the Lawrence County Probate Judge.

According to Mitchell, the documents were sent to Hazen's ex-boyfriend. Mitchell said Hazen confessed to committing the offenses in an attempt to harass her ex-boyfriend.

Hazen was taken to the Lawrence County Jail, from where she has since been released on bond.
