But forget the blogosphere! A local company, Media Fusion of Huntsville wants to help take you to the outer reaches of the atmosphere.
The design firm specializing in print, web design, and graphic animation has launched a web site to help launch your videos into space.
Media Fusion Creative Director Toby Hall says, "submit that onto a rocket and have it launch. We thought that would be a pretty cool idea. That's the best way of actually participating, to put you on a launch per say."
This has garnered response from all over the world.
Brittney Bone is the web designer for Media Fusion. "I think it's cool because it appeals to a younger generation with the whole YouTube phenomenon".
The company's CEO agrees. Tim McElyea says, "You know, it's not your daddy's NASA anymore and NASA has realized that in order to communicate with a younger generation they have to use the language and the tools that are going to appeal to that generation, and today that's largely on the internet".
Tim and and the team at Media Fusion are hoping to provide the exposure and the outlet to help keep the space spark alive and burning.
