Owens Cross Roads Meth Bust
OWEN CROSS ROADS, AL - The Madison-Morgan County Strategic Counterdrug Team and Owens Cross Roads Police Department worked a meth bust on Wednesday.

The meth lab was found inside a shed on Byrd Drive in Owen Cross Roads.

Police say 45-year-old Jimmy Pence and 26-year-old William Gwatney were arrested. Drug agents say they found all the ingredients to make meth after someone called in an anonymous tip.

"The main thing is, the fact that we had a concerned citizen that called it in to us. When we got here, things just fell into place, and we were able to take this go down," Owens Cross Roads Police Chief William Martin.

Both men are charged with drug manufacturing. They're in jail. Their bond was set $100,000 each.
