Robert Anthony Fusco (Limestone County Sheriff's Department)
ARDMORE -
A fugitive on Tennessee's Ten Most Wanted list is sitting in a north Alabama jail.
Robert Anthony Fusco, 27, is in the Limestone County Jail after leading Ardmore Police on a chase Monday night. He is charged with resisting arrest, reckless driving, and attempting to elude police, as well as being a fugitive from justice.
Ardmore Police started the chase with Fusco last night on Pleasant Hill Road, and continued down Interstate 65, where Athens Police threw down spike strips to stop the car. Authorities then arrested Fusco.
Fusco escaped from jail in Montgomery County, Tennessee last week.
The car he was caught in Monday night had been stolen from a Clarksville dealership.
Fusco was on the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation's Ten Most Wanted list, because he was supposed to be in court yesterday for a shooting that happened during a home invasion in 2008.
He will stay in the Limestone County Jail until he's extradited to Tennessee.
