One Person Injured in Rollover Accident on Christmas
HUNTSVILLE - A woman survived a nasty Christmas morning wreck. The accident happened around 9:15 a.m. on Highway 231/431 in Huntsville.

HEMSI paramedics, Huntsville Fire and Huntsville Police crews all responded to the scene.

Authorities say the Mazda car was travelling north on 231/431 when the car went off the road. They say the driver over-corrected, sending the car into a 4-foot ditch which caused the car to flip several times before landing in oncoming traffic in the southbound lane.

Paramedics transported one person to Huntsville Hospital. Emergency crews said the female driver should be okay.

Huntsville Police re-routed traffic until they could get the vehicle and debris cleared from the roadway.

Deadly Wreck in Jackson County

A man died in a wreck in Jackson County on Christmas Eve. Alabama State Troopers said 36-year-old Jonathan Aaron Clark of Trenton, Georgia, died in a one-vehicle accident around 5:45 p.m. on Christmas Eve. The accident happened about 1 mile east of Bryant on County Road 90 in Jackson County. Clark was driving a 1994 Dodge Caravan.
