WHNT NEWS 19's morning and noon meteorologist, Spencer Denton, is saying farewell this Friday, March 5. Spencer will be leaving our employment to start a new career, but is staying here in Huntsville.
Spencer has been with WHNT NEWS 19 for about five years. He's got one of the best smiles in the business and is one of the kindest people you'll ever meet.
We will certainly miss him! We know many of you will, too. You can post a message to him in the comment board below this story on WHNT.com.
Many of you have asked about Spencer's new line of work. He is going into the insurance business. Spencer is going to open his own office with Horace Mann Insurance, to sell insurance to educators.
WHNT NEWS 19 has not named a replacement for Spencer on the morning and noon newscasts yet, but we are actively searching. In the meantime, Meteorologist Alan Raymond will pick up those duties.
