MADISON COUNTY -
Monday afternoon going in to early evening the weather was quiet for many of us. But over in Madison and Harvest it was far from quiet.
Folks in those areas called WHNT-News 19 and we went out to get their story about what they saw. For the most part people told us it was a storm that practically came out of nowhere.
Tom Bougher of Madison said his area got pounded with hail and high winds, and it happened so quickly.
"The next thing that happened was rain and hail going everywhere, and I kept thinking it was going to quit, it was going to quit but it was coming from the north, which was weird," he said.
A lot of people called our newsroom wanting to know what was going on. WHNT-News 19 and the National Weather Service were watching that storm, but it wasn't strong enough to issue a warning.
