MARSHALL COUNTY -
Two people are dead after a car and a tractor collided in Marshall County on Thursday night.
Around 7:00 p.m. Thursday a car and a tractor had a head-on collision on Mount Sinai Road near Horton, between Albertville and Douglas.
David Charles, 19, Guntersville, and Gabriel Roman, 20, Albertville, were killed in the wreck. They were passengers in the car driven by Wesley Shirey, 20, of Boaz. Shirey and the driver of the tractor, Wendell Sims, 54, Boaz, were only slightly hurt in the wreck.
It took rescue crews several hours to cut the victims out of the car.
There's no word yet on how the accident happened.
