Huntsville Police Investigators are piecing together a strange shooting case. A woman was found Monday morning with a gunshot wound to the abdomen. The victim has been identified as 21-year-old Kelly Dyer. She was found at the USA Ready Mix concrete facility on Vermont Road near Martin Road as employees reported for work Monday morning.

Maintenance worker, Ricky Bramlett, says he found her laying on a desk inside the trailer covered in jackets that she had found in concrete trucks.

Bramlett says she told him that she'd been shot and to call an ambulance.

Workers called 911 and paramedics transported her to Huntsville Hospital a short time later. She is in serious condition at Huntsville Hospital. We're told that when she was transported she was able to talk.

Huntsville Police say there is no known address listed for Dyer. So, they say she may be homeless.
