AUBURN, AL - One of Auburn's key backfield stars is questionable for Saturday's game at Georgia.

Auburn head coach Gene Chizik says freshman running back Onterio McCalebb may or may not play depending on the status of his ankle injury. Chizik says McCalebb has been held out the last two weeks due to a high ankle sprain.

."Those ankle injuries are just very nagging,'' coach Gene Chizik said during the SEC coaches teleconference Wednesday. "It's hard to get over some those high ankle sprains. Some days it looks like he may be ready; other days it doesn't. We just have to play it by ear. That's what we've done the last two weeks.''

McCalebb is Auburn's second-leading rusher with 486 yards on 83 carries. But he's carried the ball only ten times in the last four games.
